COUNCIL MEMBER RODRIGUEZ, TRANSPORTATION ADVOCATES CALL FOR ALBANY TO PASS CONGESTION PRICING,  
NO IMMEDIATE FARE HIKES FROM MTA


NEW YORK, NY --  Today, Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will be joined by Transportation Alternatives, Riders Alliance, Tri-State Transportation Campaign, and the Straphangers Campaign to rally outside the Bowling Green Subway Station to call for the State Legislature to pass a comprehensive congestion pricing plan. The coalition of advocates also demands that no fare hikes are approved by the MTA in the near future. The rally will take place prior to the MTA Board Meeting at 10:00 AM.
