This event was formally known as the GEM (Growth and Education for Students with Multiple Disabilities) Ball. Students in the GEM program receive intensive occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and they work on pre-academic skills necessary for advancement.

In order to model inclusion for Students with Disabilities, this is the first year the dance will be open to the entire school. Wegmans has also provided a generous donation to help cover costs associated with decorations and food for this dance.

This dance will be open to students, staff, and some of the students’ family members to celebrate the successful end of the school year.
