Milwaukee Public Schools Leaders Launch Community-Wide Survey
MILWAUKEE (August 20, 2019) – Education leaders with Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) will gather on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., in the library at Marvin Pratt Elementary School (5131 North Green Bay Road), for a media event to announce the opening of a community-wide survey. The district is seeking the input of students, families, educators, staff and all community members to strengthen our students' academic experience and enrich opportunities for them. All members of the community are encouraged to take this important survey.  

The survey will be available online through September 12, 2019. The survey can be found at  www.mpsmke.com/survey . Those who participate in the survey will remain anonymous.  

Media event speakers will include:  
·         Dr. Keith P. Posley, Superintendent of Schools  
·         Janice Carter, Principal, Marvin Pratt Elementary School 
·         Monica Lopez, Family & Community Engagement Specialist, MPS  
·         Teng Lee, Welcome Center Associate, MPS  

After the media event, the school principal will lead a short classroom visit.
