The Office of Adult and Career Education Services (OACES), a division of the Rochester City School District, is hosting the 4
th
Annual Community Outreach Breakfast at its facility on Hart Street. This is an opportunity for OACES to showcase Adult Basic Education, Workforce Development, and Literacy Education programs. The agenda will include an overview of OACES programs and outcomes; a panel of students and partners; and a tour of the facility.
OACES is a workforce preparation organization that assists adult learners with a comprehensive range of career-related services that focus on transition to employment, advanced training, and post-secondary education. Available throughout the year, OACES programs and classes provide continuing education and career training and two large-scale, grant-funded immigrant and refugee resettlement projects. This mission of OACES is to build an active, employed, educated, and healthy Rochester community by providing open access to education and training opportunities through leveraged community resources.
