CHAIR RODRIGUEZ, ADVOCATEs, RALLY TO HOLD MTA ACCOUNTABLE FOR BROKEN MASS TRANSIT SYSTEM

NEW YORK, NY--  Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 4, 2018, Chair of the Transportation Committee, Ydanis Rodriguez, will hold a press conference at 9:30 AM with Council colleagues, advocates and stakeholders prior to the Committee on Transportation oversight hearing on how to fix the subway and bus crisis in NYC. The press conference will point out that the MTA's budget deficit should not be resolved solely by fare hikes and service cuts, burdening the strap-hangers and riders, urging the MTA to provide real, sustainable solutions.
