Media invited to experience Canadian culinary excellence at the

Canadian Culinary Championship

The Canadian Culinary Championship (CCC) starts this Thursday, with chefs from across Canada gathering in the Nation’s capital over the next few days. The CCC will be held between January 29th - January 31st, with four exciting events taking place.

Participating Chefs

Chefs, organizers, sponsors and charity representatives will be available for interviews at the Winners Circle VIP Reception on Thursday night as well as before and after the three competitive events, starting Friday evening. 

The Canadian Culinary Championship supports our Canadian youth by providing equitable access to music education, sport opportunities and healthy food - supporting MusiCounts, Spirit North, ONFE and Nutrition Blocs. 

ABOUT CANADIAN CULINARY CHAMPIONSHIP (CCC) | The Canadian Culinary Championship is an annual national event in Ottawa. The winning chefs from ten different regional qualifiers (called Canada's Great Kitchen Party) are flown in to compete in three challenging and entertaining competitions: Mystery Wine, Black Box, and the Finale. To be invited to compete locally is a notch in the belt. To win regional gold and be on the podium is a significant achievement. To be eligible to compete against each regional gold winner at the national competition the following year is a thrill. To be crowned the top chef in Canada at the Canadian Culinary Championship is a career changer!

Médias: venez découvrir l’excellence culinaire canadienne au Championnat culinaire canadien!

Le Championnat culinaire canadien (CCC) débute ce jeudi, et des chefs de partout au Canada se réuniront dans la capitale nationale au cours des prochains jours. Le CCC se tiendra du 29 au 31 janvier et comprendra quatre événements passionnants.

Les chefs, organisateurs, commanditaires et représentants d'organismes de bienfaisance seront disponibles pour des entrevues lors de la Réception VIP du Cercle des gagnants le jeudi soir ainsi qu'avant et après les trois épreuves compétitives, à partir du vendredi soir.

Le Championnat culinaire canadien soutient la jeunesse canadienne en offrant un accès équitable à l'éducation musicale, aux activités sportives et à une alimentation saine en appuyant les organismes MusiCompte, Spirit North, ROPE et Nutrition Blocs.

À PROPOS DU CHAMPIONNAT CULINAIRE CANADIEN (CCC) | Le Championnat culinaire canadien est un événement national annuel qui se déroule à Ottawa. Les chefs gagnants de dix qualifications régionales différentes (le Grand Party de Cuisine) sont invités à participer à trois compétitions stimulantes et divertissantes : Accord mets-vin mystère, la Boîte noire et la Grande finale. Le fait d’être invité à participer à une compétition locale est une première étape. Remporter l’or régional et monter sur le podium est un exploit. Pouvoir se mesurer à tous les lauréats régionaux lors du concours national de l’année suivante est une expérience passionnante. Enfin, être couronné meilleur chef au Canada lors du Championnat culinaire canadien, c’est changer de carrière !
