Worcester, Massachusetts - Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. will be offering its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in Webster for households earning less than $60,000.
Saturday, March 11th from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, March 18th from 2 - 6 p.m. at WCAC's Head Start Center located at 116 School Street, Webster, individuals are encouraged to bring tax documents (including social security cards and photo ids), have them scanned by WCAC VITA staff, to have their tax return prepared & submitted remotely. No appointment needed. Open to the public. Email VITA@wcac.net or call 508.754-1176 x171 with any questions.
Limited in-person appointments remain available in April for those interested in in-person tax-preparation at WCAC, 18 Chestnut Street, Worcester. Appointments available Tuesdays 4-7 p.m.; Wednesdays, 3-7 p.m., Fridays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Visit www.WCAC.net/VITA to schedule an appointment.
