Former Buffalo Bills Punter Brian Moorman will be serving breakfast to students at School No. 43. He plans to visit two classrooms with a local dairy farmer and the two will talk about the importance of eating a healthy breakfast.

Each student will receive a t-shirt, items will be raffled off, and students will get to ask Mr. Moorman questions.

World School Milk Day is celebrated on the last Wednesday in September. Countries around the world celebrate World School Milk day to recognize the health benefits of school milk programs.

This event also coincides with New York State Breakfast Day. As part of the 2019 state budget, New York enacted legislation to help tackle the problem of hunger in the classroom through new programs including requiring high poverty schools to serve breakfast after the school day begins so healthy options are available for all students.
