A group of pro-life citizens will assemble outside the new Planned Parenthood facility at 4624 S. Claiborne Ave. in New Orleans Saturday morning to stand for peace against Planned Parenthood's abortion expansion.
The gathering begins at 10 a.m., rain or shine, and is sponsored by Louisiana Right to Life, the NOLA Needs Peace Coalition and the Catholic Archdiocesan Respect Life Office.
Benjamin Clapper, Executive Director of Louisiana Right to Life, said: "Planned Parenthood will do everything in its power to sell abortions at its new facility in New Orleans, including taking Louisiana to court over HB 606. This building was designed by Planned Parenthood to perform 2,844 abortions a year over and above those already performed in New Orleans. New Orleans needs peace, not more more abortion offered by Planned Parenthood. We want to make that clear to the New Orleans community."
Louisiana Right to Life officials will be present and available for interviews.
