FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FEATURING RARE AND WEIRD VINTAGE GUITARS, AND RENOWNED MUSICIANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!

|
As part of the
Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend #22
, we are proud to announce
Deke Dickerson’s Guitar Geek Festival returns on Sat April 20
. This annual
guitar-focused event features cool, rare and vintage guitars displayed onstage like museum pieces. Musicians from around the world entertain for an action-packed 90 minutes, playing roots, rockabilly, western swing, surf, honky tonk and blues. Shows are like a history lesson, variety show, and a concert all rolled into one.
Deke invites different performers every year, and they are never announced in advance. Part of the fun of this event is the spontaneous nature of it that fans never know who they’ll see next!

The “Guitar Geek” festival was founded by guitar aficionado and musician,
Deke Dickerson
,
who has been playing for over three decades, and is dedicated to
“keeping America’s roots music alive while interjecting new creativity… playing the great music of the American 20th-century: rock and roll, rockabilly, western swing, rhythm and blues, surf music, garage and punk.”
Fun Fact: Deke even has his own
signature guitar
, manufactured by the Hallmark Guitar Company of Maryland.
The annual Guitar Geek festival is one special show featured at Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, the Longest Running Music Festival in Las Vegas and the Largest Rockabilly Event in the World!
