Subject: Shooting Investigation
Location: 100 Block of Ashland Avenue
COVINGTON, KY- Detectives along with the Evidence Collection Unit are investigating a shooting that happened in the Latonia Terrace apartment complex early this morning.
At around 5:04 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of Ashland Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officers found a man who had been shot. He was transported to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A suspect was quickly identified and detained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. This is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
