Subject: Stabbing Investigation
Location: Randolph Park
COVINGTON, KY- Covington Police detectives and the Evidence Collection Unit are actively investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. today.
At approximately 2:53 p.m., officers responded to Randolph Park following a report of a teenager who had been stabbed. Responding officers arrived quickly and detained another teen believed to be involved in the incident.
The injured teen was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and is currently in stable condition. We will not release the names of those involved due to their age.
This appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. At this time, police are not seeking any additional suspects or vehicles. We ask the public to avoid the area of Randolph Park as the investigation continues.
