Subject: Homicide Suspect Wanted
Location: 300 Blk. of West 34th Street
COVINGTON, KY- Detectives from the Covington Police Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Evidence Collection Unit are on the scene of a fatal shooting in the Latonia neighborhood of Covington.
At around 3:03 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of West 34th Street for a report of a shooting. They found a woman suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. She died at the scene. She is identified as Kierra Lane, 25, of Covington. Our condolences go out to the family for their loss. We do not have a suspect in custody at this time.

Police have identified the suspect from yesterday's murder and detectives have obtained a warrant for his arrest. He is:
Mario Duran Payne
38 Years Old
Male, Black, 5'11", 183 lbs.,
Black Hair, Brown Eyes, Goatee
Last Known to live on Altamont Rd. in West Covington
He is wanted for Murder and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
