MEM Celebrated Commencement December 14

graduation december 2019 mem

MEM celebrated commencement for December graduates, participating in a ceremony at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall with the McCormick  School of Engineering and Applied Science.

We echo Engineering Dean Julio M. Ottino who said, "Although your careers may take you far from campus, we hope to see and hear from you on a frequent basis. As alumni, you are the source of our value-we are only as good as the people that we produce. I am eager to see what you will accomplish." Congratulation graduates!

Students Participate in Product Management Workshops
CSPO Training and Opportunities in Product Management

CSPO group training

MEM students attended a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) workshop in November which was conducted by Vibhu Srinivasan, who has been an Agile Practitioner since 1996.

MEM welcomed Yasser Nafei, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Sales, and Product Management at LG Electronics, for a talk in December titled Opportunities in Product Management.

These and other workshops and training courses help enhance the concepts students learn in class and see how they are used in business today. Most are open to alumni as well!
