Members,

I want to invite any of you interested to join a new LOGA Committee. LOGA represents everything oil and gas, including the hot topic of Carbon Capture, Utilization, & Storage (CCUS). With many of our operator members investing in these projects, and service sector members with equipment readily available, this committee will be an avenue to get plugged in on the goings on of CCUS across the state.

We have dubbed Mark Miller to chair the committee. Mark has decades of experience in the O&G space and has already engaged in CCUS. He’s a past chairman of IPAA and is a member of the National Petroleum Council, which has been engaged in conducting significant CCUS research over the past several years. After hearing Mark speak on the subject at LEDA’s Energy Series, and him being a longtime LOGA member, his experience makes him a perfect fit to chair this committee.

The CCUS Committee will help forge future legislation, be a conduit between members and DNR, OOC, & EPA, and implement public awareness.
