The top amusement and attractions industry in the Middle East will again be placed under the scrutiny of a panel of international judges for the second annual Awards held by the trade association MENALAC.
The Middle East trade organisation will host its prestigious Awards Night on Tuesday March 26, during the DEAL trade show in Dubai, UAE. It will probably be at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel once more.

New joint venture and IP announced for Snow Park Mall of Muscat
|
Unlimited Snow recently signed a joint venture agreement for the operation of its first Snow Park in Oman. Located at the Mall of Muscat, the project will finally open in March 2019 according to a latest announcement.
Its Dutch developer has signed a 10-year deal with the Al Jarwani Group to operate the park. In addition to 5,600 square metres of winter activities, the facility will also feature intellectual property that Unlimited Snow hopes to franchise to other snow parks around the world. The family-friendly IP features some Alpine marmot characters and their friends, as seen here. They will appear at Snow Park – Mall of Muscat in various stories, 3D adventures and merchandising.

Dubai Safari Park to reopen with new animals, adventures
|
Dubai Safari will soon open its doors to public with scores of new animals, an Adventure Village and many more attractions, Gulf News has learnt.
Spanning 12.8 million square feet of landscaped land, Dubai Safari was home to more than 2,500 animals when it welcomed visitors on December 12, 2017.
The wildlife park that closed on May 15 to undergo an upgrade has welcomed several new animals over the summer months, a top executive said in a statement to Gulf News on Wednesday.

First children's water park opens in Ajman
|
The Ajman Tourism Development Department, ATDD, yesterday opened 'Fantastico Splash', the first children's water park in the UAE, at Marina 1, in Ajman.
Spread over an area of 2,500 square metres, the park will be opened to families from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.

First Dubai hotel offering movie-themed suites opens

Majid Al Futtaim has announced the opening of Aloft City Centre Deira in Dubai, the first hotel in the region to offer movie-themed suites.
Operated by Marriott International, the hotel also features a VOX Cinemas' outdoor screen, a statement said.
Aloft City Centre Deira marks the fourth hotel collaboration between retail giant Majid Al Futtaim and Marriott International, following Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates, Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain, and Westin City Centre Bahrain.
