Emaar launches new cinema concept
A new immersive cinema experience has been unveiled at the Reel Cinemas location in the Dubai Mall, it has been announced.
Reel Cinemas, from Emaar Entertainment, has launched ScreenX in partnership with CJ 4DPLEX in the technology. It is the world’s first multi-projection system that provides a panoramic film viewing experience within a theatre setting. Read more

Dubai Parks and Resorts signs partnership with UnionPay
The largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination in the Middle East, Dubai Parks and Resorts, has signed a partnership with leading Chinese payment gateway UnionPay.
UnionPay is  the preferred payment platform  for the majority of outbound Chinese travellers. It has six billion subscribers globally, making it the largest cardholder base in the world. The cards are accepted in 170 countries and the brand partners with over 1,800 institutions. Read more

Connect&GO strike ASI deal
Dubai’s Amusement Services International has added the RFID solutions of Connect&GO to its portfolio.
Signed earlier this year while attending the DEAL show, the agreement will see Connect&GO expand its penetration in the Middle East region with its RFID solutions for access control, cashless payments and experiential activations designed specifically for the amusement park and leisure entertainment industry being made available to ASI’s clients. DEAL already 61% full
Seven months before the Dubai show opens, it is already 61 per cent full, according to the organizers, International Expo Consults.
The DEAL trade show, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is set for March 25-27 in 2019 and is the largest amusement exhibition in the Middle East. It will be the "silver anniversary" edition of the show, 25 years after it was first launched. Read more
