MENUDO ADDS TWO NEW HEARTHROBS FROM PUERTO RICO
MIAMI, FL MARCH 13, 2025 – Menudo Productions and Mario Lopez welcome Puerto Rican heartthrobs Janvier Flores and Zaulo Enchautegui to Team Menudo. The addition of Flores and Enchautegui, both 17 years old, brings an exciting dose of talent and maturity to the iconic Latin boy band.
After a two-month search, Menudo selected Janvier and Zaulo, who have since moved from Puerto Rico to Miami, where they have been recording and rehearsing with existing members Andres Emilio, Alejandro Querales, and Gabriel Rossell. The boys will make their first appearance together as a group when they perform on March 22 at Teleton USA airing on the Univision Network, followed by Menudo’s March 27 roof top performance at the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel in South Beach for Miami Music Week.
Prior to joining Menudo, Zaulo Enchautegui spent three years performing in a Menudo tribute band called Grupo M Five in Puerto Rico. Additionally, Zaulo is an amateur champion arm-wrestler in Puerto Rico and a North American sub-champion arm-wrestler. He is from Levittown, Toa Baja Puerto Rico and is currently a senior at CeDIn Superior High School, where he will be graduating this May.
Starting at the age of six, Janvier Flores has co-directed and played leading roles in productions of Grease, Heathers, Aladdin, and Newsies. Janvier is from Caguas Puerto Rico and will be graduating this May from Colegio Católico Notre Dame, where he served as president of the school’s theater club.
