Dear Mercyaires,
As part of our Mercy 80th Anniversary Celebration, I would love to invite all former Mercyaires to join in a very special way! Together with the current Mercyaires, we will sing the traditional Vittoria Ave Maria—the same piece we shared with Mr. Teevens, Mrs. Ferguson, and with me.
We’ll gather for a short rehearsal around 4:15pm before Mass in the Mercy Auditorium on Saturday, October 18th. During Mass, celebrated by Archbishop of Detroit Edward J. Weisenburger, you’ll be invited forward to sing during the Communion Reflection. What a beautiful way to honor 80 years of Mercy and 59 years of Mercyaires—through music, faith, and tradition.
