Congratulations to MERIT member, Kelly Miller, for celebrating 40 years with RNF Ventures!

On Friday, May 24, RNF Ventures formally recognized Kelly's contributions to the construction industry over the past four decades.
Kelly’s construction career started right out of high school as a carpenter’s helper. He was indentured as an apprentice carpenter and earned his Red Seal in carpentry early in his career. He wore the tools for several years gaining valuable job-site experience and learning the trade from the ground up. In 1997 he accepted a different challenge and moved into the office.   Over the last 40 years, Kelly has filled almost every role at RNF Ventures , including carpenter, site supervisor, project manager, estimator and safety officer. In 2004, Kelly became RNF's President and continues to fill that role today.
Kelly and RNF have had a large impact on Prince Albert over the years. He’s contributed to many community projects in the city including the Alfred Jenkins Fieldhouse, EA Rawlinson Centre, Art Hauser Centre, Pineview Terrace Lodge, and the Family Treatment Centre. Building with the community has always been a priority for Kelly.

Kelly has served in leadership roles on many industry associations including the Saskatchewan Construction Association, the PA Construction Association, the SCA Advisory Council, the General Contractors Association, the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association Regional Committee, and of course, MERIT Contractors Association.

What does Kelly attribute his success over the past 40 years to?  He’s quick to downplay his role and gives all the credit to the team he’s had the privilege to work with. There are many employees who have been by Kelly’s side through his career, thanks in large part to his strong leadership skills.
Congratulations, Kelly!
