"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9: 6-7

Christmas Is A Story of Giving
God sent His only Son to be born and become the Savior of the world. We celebrate our love for Him by giving back to others. One of the greatest examples of giving back this season came from 4-year-old Jaina Atwood, in Mrs. Galvin’s class, who worked very hard to make 118 bracelets to sell to raise money for the school. It was an exciting and thrilling moment when she walked into my office, with a big smile, to hand me her offering. My eyes were filled with tears as this preschooler joyfully presented me with the fruit of her love and hard work. Her love for HCS exuded from her as she handed me that envelope.
To date, we have raised $53,000 towards our $1,000,000 goal in order to reach our school's needs. Our dedicated staff contributed over $15,000, which demonstrates their amazing love for your kids, despite their sacrifice to work in Christian ministry which pays much less than other options. Almost 100% of our staff contributed to the Annual Fund as an example of their amazing support for our vision to provide excellence in Christian education.
Won't you consider a generous gift this Christmas season on behalf of your child at HCS? Tuition covers only 25% of the cost to educate your child, and the remainder has to be raised through donations. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our kids.
I am prayerful that everyone will be “ALL IN”!
Blessings and Merry Christmas!!
Karen Winter
HCS Head of School
Special thanks to the following Donors who gave towards our Legacy Annual Fund to raise $1,000,000 for school needs. Our prayer is that EVERY FAMILY will generously give a year-end gift on behalf of their child or grandchild.

Out of the Mouth of Babes
Four-year-old Jaina Attwood loves her school and wanted to help raise money for the Annual Fund. She asked her mom to help, and together they got to work making bracelets to sell. After all of their hard work, Jaina sat in the preschool breezeway for an entire week, selling her bracelets and grabbing the attention of all who passed by. By the end of the week, Jaina met her goal and raised $118. Then she proudly walked, with Preschool Director Katie Trimble and preschool teacher Nicole Meyers, to Mrs. Winter's office to present her donation to the school. What a beautiful and exciting example of God's heart shining through a small child.

Welcome Our Newest Teachers
|
|
In order to continue to improve our Math program, Mr. Lee will be taking over all of the math courses starting in January. Mr. Lee has over 20 years of experience and the kids love him. Many students have told us how easily they understand challenging concepts because of Charlie’s unique ability to creatively teach. He teaches in a way that is memorable which helps our students learn in a way they never have before.
