Field Day Volunteers Needed!!!
Field Days are just two weeks away! Our parent volunteers run the Field Day stations and are a critical part of this event. We need dozens of volunteers for each session to ensure things run smoothly. You can sign up for the scheduled date, the rain date, or both as your schedule allows. June tends to be rainy and it helps to find volunteers for the rain dates now so we don't have to scramble to find volunteers in the event of a postponement.

Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
Please join us Thursday, June 15 at 9:30 am in the J/J Multi-Purpose Room for our annual volunteer appreciation breakfast. We will be thanking our wonderful volunteers, installing the 2023/24 board and celebrating the end of another successful school year.

This is a great chance to see what MESA is all about, welcome the new board and say goodbye to our departing board members. Even if this is your first MESA meeting or your kids are just entering kindergarten next year, we would love to have you join us! Children are always welcome!
One Book, One Grade
With the help of the 5th grade staff, reading specialists, and our fantastic parent donations, MESA is happy to announce that we are able to bring back this enrichment program to our 5th-grade students. Each student receives a copy of The War that Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley to keep! As classrooms read the book and discuss related topics, they will also participate in a Coin Drive to benefit Save The Children, the world's leading humanitarian organization for children. The money raised will help provide relief to children in need around the world.

Kids Helping Kids!!
5th graders can fill classroom coin jars until 5/31. We cannot wait to announce how much the kids raise… start searching those couch cushions!

Mansfield SEPAC Seeking New Members
The Mansfield Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) is seeking new members to join its committee! We welcome anyone in Mansfield with a child on an IEP who would like to ensure our schools offer the educational, recreational, and social programs needed by our students with challenges. Open positions include Roland Green Representative, Program Coordinator as well as other school representatives. If you want to be part of SEPAC we will find you a role!

Mansfield SEPAC is a parent-led committee mandated by state law to advise the School Committee on all matters related to special education programming. Additionally, we offer six meetings each school year which serve as a safe space where parents can learn about SPED-related issues and ask questions of experts, other caregivers, and administrators. Our meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about special education issues and to SEPAC members from area towns.

For more information on joining SEPAC, please email [email protected] or reach out to us through social media @MansfieldSEPAC on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram by May 30th. Elections will be held at our meeting on June 6th
