MESA General Meeting Tonight |
|
Join us at our General Meeting tonight at 7pm in the Robinson Cafeteria. We are planning for the 2023-24 MESA Board. Anyone with a student in Kindergarten to fifth grade at Robinson and Jordan/Jackson is welcome to attend, learn about the open positions, and express interest in filling a position. Voting will happen at our annual volunteer breakfast in June.

Last chance to save on your Spring Fling tickets!
Online ticket sales will end on Friday, May 5th.
Purchasing tickets online saves you $10 and helps us plan a better event for you!
Tickets at the door will be sold for $60.
Spring Fling will take place on Friday, May 12th at the Guild in Pawtucket. It will be a fun night of live music & dancing, food trucks & desserts and some amazing auction items and raffle prizes! All proceeds go to programs that support students and teachers in Robinson & Jordan/Jackson Elementary Schools.

Want to Support MESA's Spring Fling?
The Spring Fling Committee is looking to create themed baskets for each grade. If you would like to donate an item(s) for the basket, please click on the button below to sign up, then drop off your item(s) by Monday, May 8 at either the East or West Mansfield addresses listed in the SignUp Genius. The Committee will put the baskets together. We hope these baskets will make fun auction items. We appreciate everyone’s willingness to further support the schools, students and teachers!

Discovery Museum

We had to share these thank you cards sent to us by Mrs. Sullivan's 1st grade class. The Robinson used a Principal's grant from MESA to pay for a visit by the Discovery Museum last week. Students had fun exploring sounds, creating unique sound makers with household materials. If your student didn't tell you about the visit last week, be sure to ask them what they learned! |

Please join us Thursday, June 15 at 9:30 am in the J/J Multi-Purpose Room for our annual volunteer appreciation breakfast. We will be thanking our wonderful volunteers, installing the 2023/24 board and celebrating the end of another successful school year.
This is a great chance to see what MESA is all about, welcome the new board and say goodbye to our departing board members. Even if this is your first MESA meeting or your kids are just entering kindergarten next year, we would love to have you join us! Children are always welcome!

MESA is partnering with 1st Place Spiritwear to offer Robinson and Jordan/Jackson students, families, staff, and administrators a one-stop shop for school-themed apparel.
New designs have been added for moms and grandmas. Order by Wednesday, May 3rd to ensure delivery before Mother's Day!

Hi, my name is Lauren Bieke. I am MESA's recording secretary. I am responsible for the weekly newsletter and some of the social media. I have been on the board for a few years, but first became involved in MESA by volunteering to help with some of the events put on during the school year. I am an account director at a public relations firm. I work from home which gives me some flexibility to help with MESA activities during the school day.
My husband, Mike and I moved to Mansfield in 2008. We have two children, Connor (10) and Olivia (7). We love taking part in some of the great activities in the schools and around town!

MESA is the non-profit parent organization of the Robinson and Jordan/Jackson elementary schools. We facilitate fundraising, enrichment, and community building fun for our schools and students. If you have a student at Robinson or J/J, you are automatically a member of MESA.
We are always looking for help, new ideas and involvement!
