METALCON’S RETURN TO EAST COAST A SUCCESS METALCON attendees and exhibitors returned to the Northeast for the first time in nearly 10 years and it was a huge success. The ease of travel, concentration of business in the area and ideal autumn weather made Baltimore an excellent location for METALCON 2016. New exhibitor, Bridget Saladino, president with Acculign Framing Systems, said, “A lot of our target customers/partners are here, and we love the city. METALCON has exceeded our expectations, and we are impressed with the caliber of attendees and exhibitors." Read the FULL STORY and check out the PHOTO GALLERY.

METALCON MAKES GENEROUS DONATION TO “AMERICA’S FUND”
METALCON continues to give back to
America’s Fund, a non-profit organization committed to providing urgently needed resources and financial support to injured and critically ill veterans of the US Armed Forces. With the help of our generous attendees and exhibitors, METALCON very proudly presented $7,500 in donations to Susan Wortman, Community Events Manager, and Corporal Ronny Porter USMC, who was critically injured in Iraq in 2007. Ronny Porter was on hand and gave the METALCON delegation a heartfelt presentation about how much America’s Fund has assisted him and his family. “We want to ensure METALCON’s giving back efforts benefit those brave individuals who’ve put their futures on the line to make all of us safer and able to enjoy all of the freedoms we have,” says show manager, Claire Kilcoyne. Thank you to all who joined us at THE DECK to make a donation. If you missed the opportunity to donate at the show, click

TECHNOLOGY KEY TO FUTURE OF INDUSTRY
METALCON launched into the future of the industry with a focus on technology at this year’s show. A large scale 3-D printing technology project developed by the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and industry partners known as the Additive Manufacturing Integrated Energy (AMIE) project was featured on the show floor.
