WHAT IS RT3?
Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3) is a consortium of thought leaders exploring emerging technology solutions for the roofing industry, striving to inform contractors by bringing together progressive and disruptive solutions that help build the professionalism and appeal of the roofing industry. We are thrilled to announce that this “think tank” will be at METALCON 2019 to present their expertise. Join
Bill Wilkins, VP of Customer Innovation with Pointivo, Josey Parks, Owner of Metal Roofs of Texas and J. Wales Construction and Heidi Ellsworth, Founder of National Women in Roofing and Roofers Coffee Shop as they share their successes and challenges with implementing technology into sales and marketing, operations, back office, health and safety and recruiting.

This session will take place in the PPG Theatre located on the show floor on Wednesday, October 16 from 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm. Sponsored by Roofers Coffee Shop.
WANNA TALK TARIFF?
It is no secret that international trade law and policy developments related to the steel industry present both challenges and opportunities to steel manufacturers throughout the supply chain, as well as steel customers, distributors and processors. Associate General Counsel of International Trade & Public Policy for US Steel, Benjamin Blase Caryl, will provide a briefing on the current status and likely trajectory of the Section 232 national security action on steel imports; US trade agreement negotiations; Section 301 tariffs on imports from China; and current US anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations on certain fabricated structural steel products from China, Canada and Mexico.

This session will take place in the PPG Theatre on Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm. Sponsored by United States Steel.

A mid-sized city with a small-town feel, Pittsburgh is a place you will remember. While there, set aside some time to take in the city sights. Experience the friendliness and pride of the people, the energy and culture of the city. While in town, consider a Pittsburgh Penguin game, a concert, or opera at the Benedum Center.
