Beginning October 1, METRO will adjust parking rates at the Fannin South Transit Center for the first time in more than 15 years. The daily rate will increase to $5, while parking hang tags will increase to $50. Special event parking rates may vary depending on the event.

At just $5 for daily parking, Fannin South remains an affordable and convenient option for customers traveling to some of Houston’s busiest destinations. Located just minutes from Reliant Stadium and directly along the METRORail Red Line, the facility provides easy access to Reliant Stadium, the Texas Medical Center, downtown Houston and other destinations along the line.

For eventgoers, employees, patients, visitors and others traveling into high-traffic areas, Fannin South offers another convenient way to complete their trip. Customers can park right outside their final destination and use METRORail for the remaining portion of their travel, helping simplify trips to major employment, medical, entertainment and activity centers across the region.

Customers purchasing monthly parking should have their vehicle license plate number available when visiting the parking booth.
