Vertebral Heart Score Made Easy
|
 Integral in Metron and improved in Metron 8, the Vertebral Heart Score (VHS) Guided Mark-Up is the perfect software feature to spotlight in the month of February.
Metron has made it even easier to pick the appropriate points in the VHS Guided Mark-Up process. In Metron 8, VHS is also now exclusive to the thoracic region.
Let Metron do the calculations for you. Execute four easy Guided Mark-Up steps to complete the set of parameters required for diagnosis.
Preliminary Steps: First, make sure the X-Ray is labeled as a Thorax. This will ensure the Guided Mark-Up button will display.
Next, tap or click the Guided Mark-Up Button. This will bring up the Radiographic Calibration screen. Select the No Calibration graphic button and click OK.
Let the Mark-Up begin!
The first two steps inside the Guided Mark-Up process are the same as previous Metron Software versions. Follow the step-by-step instructions picking the points on your X-Ray image to match the sample software image.
 In each process step, pick the points on your image. If you want more detailed directions, click the Help button. Once points are picked, always click Next Step>> to continue.
Click the how-to document VHS Guided Mark-Up in Metron for instructions for each of the four steps and where to view your computed parameters, It is also located on the support site.
Your VHS Mark-Up on this X-Ray can be shared in many different ways. You can post it to the Metron
Web Viewer, email it, create a report, or even send it to another location.

Meet Gibson

Golden Retrievers have always been a part of my life.
Last August we lost our sweet McGraw who was 16. It was heartbreaking and took time to get over. Not having him by my side every day was very hard to get used to. We knew for our boys Jaxson, 10 and Bennett, 6 that it was important to get another one. We did our research and worked with an amazing breeder, Sun Golden Kennels in southern Wisconsin to help us find the perfect puppy for our family. They did this by conducting temperament testing and then matched him to our lifestyle.
Our newest baby, Gibson was born in 2018. Yes, we named him after Gibson Guitars. Why not carry on the country music theme?
You can already see how big he has grown since the day we brought him home. He has the sweetest temperament and he loves to run outside with the kids and dig holes in the sandbox...of course weather permitting!! Usually at least once a day he gets the "zoomies" where he zooms around like crazy and no matter what you do you can't stop him. He makes us laugh every day.
We finally feel like our family is complete again. The problem is, now I need a bigger house so I can get three more.....
