Have you connected to your Phone’s hotspot or clinic’s wireless network successfully before and now are not able to connect? Let us help!
Sometimes our computers are too smart and remember too much information like old passwords. This is the main reason people are not able to connect to their wireless.
Windows will not prompt you to type in a new password unless you remove the old password from the computer's memory first. Here are the steps you will need to take to remove the old password:
-
Click the Windows button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen
-
Click Settings
-
Click Network & Internet
-
Once there click on Wi-Fi on the left-hand side
-
Then Manage Known Networks
- Click the name of the HotSpot or wireless network you are trying to connect to
-
Click on the Forget button
- Exit out of the screen
Next time you go to your wireless network to connect you will be prompted for a password. You will now be able to type in your new password.
