Where did 2018 go?
A look back at what was a cool year

Practice Spotlight made its return in 2018 and we will continue to feature practices in the coming year. It was fun becoming better acquainted with Dr. Deidre Huff of Winterwood Equine Services and Dr. Masuma Barrett of Kodiak Veterinary Hospital. Each one with their unique experiences, each one knowing the quality of the image tells the story they need for their patient owners.

Nate and Anna became best friends in March and SharpLogixx ( parent company of Metron Support Services) was honored to play a significant role in this union. We recognize the sacrifices service members make to keep us safe so we were proud to partner with Dogs2DogTags to provide necessary funds to create a pet-to-vet match!

Bonding with Winston  was a story shared spotlighting Meghan and Winston's special bond using sign language as their communication method.

We also continued to have fun introducing you to our furry family members showcasing their adventures and personalities. From Trevor's best buddy Baloo to Brianna's two new kittens, Selina and Oliver, and Ryder celebrating his golden birthday in October, it was a fun year.
And with all our new team members, no doubt there will be more pet experiences to share!

And yes....your support team added reinforcements in 2018 too! The more the merrier we say! Allen, Alva, Amanda, Austin, Drew, and Eric joined the team this year. Perhaps we truly focused on the front end of the alphabet, however each person fulfills a role which is now stronger because of their skills.

Then there is the Metron Imaging Software....what you use every day to aid in pet diagnostics. Well, it got BETTER and we released Metron 8 to you beginning in June. We pride ourselves for always looking for ways to enhance our imaging software in the manner which is most important to your  practice.

2018 was a year of growth, a year of sharing stories, and a year of improvements within our product and our support team. It is truly amazing what you can accomplish and enjoy in 12 months.

Time to raise the bar 2019!  Here we go!
Technical assistance?
Welcome to Metron Support Austin!

If you have called Metron Support Services during the past month or so, you may have already met Austin.

Austin is a a third generation Navy veteran. He did cryptology/intelligence in the Navy and found a passion for computers through his four years of service.

After leaving the Navy and the beautiful state of Hawaii, Austin decided to move home to the frozen tundra that is Green Bay, Wisconsin. He continued to explore the technology field becoming a member of the Best Buy Geek Squad. With the experience gathered there, his pursuit of an IT career led him to the Metron Support Services Team.

Outside the office, he loves following football, hockey, baseball, and basketball. Austin and his father enjoy classic cars and a 1978 Corvette has remained under their "restoration wings" for the past eight years.

Austin is just getting started here, but he is ready to help!
