AHFA's intent is to release the Multifamily Competitive Application ("Application") on or about Thursday, January 9, 2025. AHFA may accept applications for available funding on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The tentative 2025 AHFA Application Cycle timeline is as follows:

The AHFA 2025 Application Cycle Events dates listed above are tentative and subject to change. The funding priorities established by AHFA to meet statutory funding set-asides are detailed in the 2025 AHFA Plans. Funding recommendations will be made in accordance with those priorities to the extent of the remaining available funding sources. Applicants are advised to review the 2025 Plans before making competitive application decisions.

All AHFA competitive application fees are non-refundable; applicants submit applications at their own risk. It is strongly recommended that a cashier's check or certified funds to accompany your Application submittal to forego any banking concerns.

Please note the following information for the Workforce Housing Tax Credit with Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds Applications:

1. 2025 Applications are due to AHFA by 5 pm CDT, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, regardless of the delivery method.

Please note the following information for the HOME/Housing Credit Applications:

1. Deviation Requests must be submitted to AHFA prior to, but no later than February 7, 2025, to avoid a fee.
2. Application Logs are due to AHFA via email by 5 pm CDT, Tuesday, February 18, 2024.
3. 2025 Applications are due to AHFA by 5 pm CDT, Thursday, February 20, 2025, regardless of the delivery method.

If hand delivering, please call 334-244-9200 upon arrival at AHFA and let the receptionist know you are onsite to deliver a Multifamily Application. A member of the Multifamily staff will meet you in the lobby of the building to receive the application package. Application receipts will be delivered to applicants via email.
