Please read the following instructions carefully.

To be considered for the CHDO Set-Aside in the 2025 Competitive Funding Cycle, organizations must submit an AHFA 2025 CHDO Application to AHFA by 5:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Also, in order to recertify and receive the annual Eligibility Statement, organizations must submit Recertification documents for all Active previously awarded CHDO projects to AHFA by 5:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

AHFA anticipates notifying applicants of its determination of CHDO eligibility from AHFA before the Application Date for the 2025 Competitive Funding Cycle.

Applications may be submitted by hand or overnight delivery to the following address:

Please note that the AHFA offices are secured and not open to the public. If hand delivered, you must call 334-244-9200 upon arrival at AHFA and let the receptionist know you are onsite to deliver a Multifamily Application. A member of the Multifamily staff will meet you in the lobby of the building to receive the Application package. Application receipts will be delivered to applicants via email.

Please note that all AHFA competitive application fees are non-refundable: applicants submit applications at their own risk. It is strongly recommended that a cashier's check or certified funds to accompany your Application submittal to forego any banking concerns.
