What's on your schedule for February 9? I know what's on ours:
The Michigan Family Farms Conference!
Registration Closes on Monday!!
Sign up TODAY for the conference at bit.ly/mffc2019

The MFFC will be held on February 9 at the KVCC Texas Township Campus. The theme for 2019 MFFC is "Tools for Agricultural Success - What's in Your Shed?" To get some energy and excitement around the conference this year, we would like to see #whatsinyourshed today! The campaign is sure to be a delight as we look at the current tools we have and what others we might be able to add at MFFC2019. Think outside the shed; your personal shed may be a desk, classroom, office, or production facility!

This year we are really excited to offer an extended workshop that includes a lunchtime tour to the Food Innovation Center AND The Culinary and Allied Health Building! The MFFC is a forum to network, learn and build sustainable family farms but also a space to learn about agriculture for your own home as well. Our event includes a keynote to be delivered by Melvin Parson, founder of We the People Growers Association. Urban Farmer and visionary Melvin Parson tells his inspiring story of how the gift of a small plot of land and supportive friends turned into an organic agribusiness supplying 15 Southeastern Michigan restaurants. In this session, Melvin will share how “Changing the Soil” can lead to life-affirming and fruitful results for you and your community.
This conference offers beginning, small-scale, and culturally diverse farmers a chance to network, learn, and build sustainable family farms. It is an energizing, hands-on event featuring seven tracks of breakout sessions plus a youth track to engage the whole family.  We are excited to have many made in Michigan foods at our lunch and breaks! Join us for a day of great eats and great learning! Click   here   for a summary of the workshops at the 2019 MFFC. We have a schedule available online as well if you would like to plan out your day here
Please contact us with any questions via the email or phone listed below. We prefer that you register before the conference but in case you cannot register by Monday, registration will also be available at the door and payable by credit card or cash.
