All 33 Supervisors and Leaders completed 48 hours of training at their Oakwood location.

Caldwell Electrical Contractors had 27 of their employees to complete a 12-hour customized Leadership Training course offered by Workforce Strategies Group LLC at Lanier Technical College.

Although public speaking isn't her favorite, Cristy said YES! when asked by Georgia's #NAW2024 Conference because she "wants others to know that they can do it too!" Cristy is now the Quality Manager at Murray Plastics and graduated from the 2-year Quality Tech Apprenticeship at Lanier Tech in 2023.

Congratulations! Rhonda Samples was named the National Career Tech and Ag Education Administrator of the Year! Rhonda is the Hall County Schools' Executive Director of CTAE and she is pictured here with Dr. Barbara Wall, GDOE Director. It's no surprise to us here locally and we are proud see her recognized nationally.

Manufacturing (MFG) Sector Strategy collaborates with stakeholders in the 13-county WorkSource Georgia Mountains (WSGM) region to align education and workforce training programs with the needs of manufacturing businesses. WSGM, under Georgia Mountains Regional Commission, administers the federal WIOA funds which encourages sector strategies and partnerships. Workforce Strategies Group LLC manages the MFG Sector Strategy.
