HOW DIVISIONS ARE DETERMINED

Divisions are based on each team's average number of steps per member each week, ensuring teams compete against others with similar activity levels. A team's division may change from week to week as step averages vary. New this year: divisions will remain fixed after Week 6 to ensure high-performing teams are not moved to the bottom of the next higher division.

The average steps for each division are:

  • Tortoise – Average of up to 56,000 steps per week, per member
  • Hare – Average 56,001 – 70,000 steps per week, per member
  • Super Hare - Average 70,001 – 105,000 steps per week, per member
  • Bionic Hare – Average of 105,001 and more steps per week, per member
