´╗┐After years of extensive planning, committee work, and community input, the Board of Education has approved placing two referendum questions on the November 6, 2018, ballot. Read more about the specifics of the plan here .

Why is the District proposing this plan?
The District began long-range facilities planning in 2015 to address several key challenges facing our schools:
Growth The District has grown by more than 525 students over the last 10 years and is projected to grow by another 700 students over the next decade.

Safety & Security There are opportunities to make our schools even safer, including the construction of controlled, more secure main entrances at Winnequah School and MG21.

´╗┐Maintenance The District is facing $14.8 million in deferred maintenance and repairs.
How much will the plan cost taxpayers?
Approval of both referendum questions would increase the District's total tax rate over the existing level by an estimated $75 per $100,000 of fair market property valuation.
