MHDD Training Module - Autism 101
Autistic people make up a large percentage of the population. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s most recent research found 1 in 59 children have been identified with autism.

Autistic people experience high rates of mental health conditions. Despite the higher rates, autistic people do not receive the mental health services they need. It can be difficult to find a mental health provider ready to work with them.

Many mental health providers report a lack of knowledge, training, and experience working with this population. If you are a provider, this online learning module can help you become more comfortable serving this population.
