There has perhaps never been a greater need for individuals of all ages to be able to easily and remotely engage with the community organizations vital to their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

A Michigan-based collaborative program is launching a community "utility" in Washtenaw County, the Commun02 Community Partnership Program, to address remote engagement and social isolation. The CommunO2 SuperApp is free to Washtenaw County residents, as well as their friends and family anywhere. CommunO2 brings the benefits of modern information and communications technologies via one safe, secure, engaging, ad-free, and easy to use platform.

Enabled by funding from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, JFS is convening 25 organizations to be the first in this county to initiate the deployment of the CommunO2 system. The platform and services will be provided to these Participating Organizations at no cost to them.

Each Participating Organization will be provided:
· An organization level subscription for the use of Commun02
· An organization "site page" on Commun02, tailored to your organization, providing video calling capabilities, website link, donation page link, video drop-in rooms , and/or other services supported by the Commun02 technology platform
· Capabilities and training to live stream services, classes, webinars, etc. using a provided streaming camera , as much and as often as you like
· The Commun02 Instant Video Chat (IVC) functionality, video-connecting your community service representatives to their client/member base at any time
· An unlimited number of Commun02 consumer accounts for use by your organization's constituents (e.g., staff, clients, caregivers, members, congregants, patients, etc.), and their family/friends anywhere

Enhanced community connections are critical for so many of our neighbors, during even the most normal of times -- when they find it difficult or impossible to physically access resources, experience an insufficient numbers of caregivers and clinicians available to serve their needs, or when access to health care and senior care is cost prohibitive.

We all know the Internet can be a scary and dangerous place, particularly for infrequent or novice users. CommunO2 protects people from the risks of being hijacked while accessing the World Wide Web, while providing a safer approach and a streamlined connection to our community services and organizations.

Initial Participating Organizations will have significant influence on future CommunO2 features and functions. Please click here to view Commun02 Benefits At a Glance.

I'm excited to invite you and your organization to participate in the Washtenaw County CommunO2 Community Partnership Program.
