October 11, 2025 - Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
Our 30th Anniversary Kickoff Event was nothing short of spectacular, with a completely full house at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. We were honored to be joined by members of the Hubert L. “Hooks” Jones Chapter, esteemed brothers from Mount Evans Lodge #7, and one of our original Tuskegee Airmen, Col. James Harvey, whose presence made the celebration truly unforgettable. Adding to the excitement, HLHJ Chapter member John Thomas gave a moving reenactment of a Tuskegee Airman, bringing history to life for all in attendance. We were thrilled to feature an amazing panel of previous Mile High Flight Program students, sharing their experiences and inspiring the next generation. We were also deeply honored to recognize Shari Searuggs, widow of MHF crewmember Captain Darryl Searuggs, along with her son, Dominique. To mark this special occasion, we pulled out all the stops—from delicious box lunches provided by Good Foods Catering to the seamless event coordination by Nicole Frazier and her sister, Kelly—officially launching the next exciting chapter of the Mile High Flight Program and our continued commitment to inspiring the next generation of aviation, aerospace, and STEM leaders.
