RE: Expectations for Commissioners Participation and Engagement at the Annual Business Meeting (ABM) and Standing Committee Meetings
The MIC3 Compliance Committee is directed by the strategic plan to empower and channel the diverse nature of our Commissioners to maintain one focus, one purpose, and one outcome. We issued this guidance, which sets expectations for Commissioners' participation and engagement at the ABM and the Commission's standing committee meetings.
The Commission is preparing for an in-person meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 23-24, 2025. The Compliance Committee has prepared the guidance below to ensure a successful, efficient meeting.
Commissioners, Designees, and proxies attending the ABM are expected to:

Review the Pre-ABM Webinar Presentations before the first day of the ABM on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
- Attend the General Session, Committee, and Tier Group meetings on Day 1 (10/23) and Day 2 (10/24).
- Actively participate in discussions on agenda items with their peers.
- Vote on topics before the Commission.
The Commission has issued several policies outlining the role and responsibilities of the Commissioner, Designees, ABM proxies, and Ex-officio Representatives participating in the Commission's meetings. The policies are linked, and they should be reviewed prior to the ABM and before any Standing Committee meetings to ensure the Commission's business is completed in a productive, professional manner.
