MIC3 Highlighted as Key Education Priority

In partnership with the United States Automobile Association (USAA), Blue Star Families recently released an updated version of their Corporate Citizens Playbook. First released in 2016, it highlights five areas of proposed corporate engagement with military-connected communities, including: Education, Employment, Financial Readiness, Health and Wellness, and National Security. The Compact is one of the five key areas in education. Member states are encouraged to share this resource widely with stakeholders.

Blue Star Families was founded by military spouses in 2009 to empower these families to thrive as they serve, They are committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors – individuals and organizations – to create vibrant communities of mutual support. USAA was founded in 1922 when 25 Army officers decided to insure each other's vehicles. They are a leading provider of insurance, banking, investment and retirement solutions to members of the U.S. military, and veterans who have honorably served and their families.
