Greetings! I am proud to serve as the 5th Chair of the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission. The work we do is most rewarding. Our former Chair, Kate Wren Gavlak (CA) would always say, “Doing the RIGHT THING for children.” I want to publicly thank Kate for her service and leadership to the organization, and to the schools and children we serve.
Each issue we will pose questions to people associated with MIC3. In this newsletter we spoke with Kristen Ferullo, NAVY School Liaison Officer for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Maine.
The information provided will be kept and used as resource to identify areas that we may need to focus on.
Kathleen Murphy was named the New Hampshire 2016 Superintendent of the Year by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association. Selected for her work as a leader in early childhood as well as her work leading a STEM initiative in SAU 90.
"she is a tireless advocate for students and their families and is a true champion for children"
