Strange days indeed! We are living in unusual times. October is the month we look forward to for celebrating all things weird and wonderful and MICHAEL HAYDEN GALLERY is proud to present a fall group show that
will satisfy your cravings for just that. In fact, we will be having
TWO EVENTS this month just so you don't miss out!

FEATURED ARTISTS:

ANDRE MIRIPOLSKY is a world renowned Los Angeles artist whose keen understanding of pop imagery and energy launched a dynamic career that resulted in work with Elton John (the famous 1980 concert in Central Park Piano Keys costume) and Bette Midler (album package/visual design for her 1982 worldwide "DeTour") as well as Quincey Jones, The Rolling Stones, Gato Barbieri, Robin Williams, Beastie Boys, Cheap Trick, MTV, and "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. For thirty years he has continued to explore and discover creative wonders in his Kingdom of Color. His iconic images range from the Absolute Vodka bottle campaign to cartoon-like sharks engaging in all things California lifestyle.
We are very excited to present a selection of his original artworks that will also be released as NFT's just before the opening. Also, proceeds from the sales of Miripolsky artworks will go to support ocean conservation.

TIMOTHY WARREN WILLIAMS is a Pepperdine University graduate with a BA Fine Art Degree. "His particular vision merges elements of beach culture and Goth, trauma and triumph in his eloquent elevation of salvaged materials into visceral Postmodern surfer-noir talismans." LA Weekly
Williams exhibits two sculptures using animal skulls projected with black and white video of coastal waves set to music AND "Vodka and Prayers", beeswax and resin-covered liquor bottles representing months of isolation and self preservation created during the ongoing pandemic.

NICOLE FOURNIER With a BFA graduating cum laude from William Paterson University, Nicole uses photography and encaustic (beeswax and resin) transferring images she's photographed on to a variety of substrates then embellishing them with mediums she makes from oil-based or powdered pigments. Nicole enjoys a wide range of possibilities inherent in this technique- the evocative and distressed tones, and especially the additive and subtractive qualities that come along with the process. Through her art, she continues to express concepts of growth and awareness, and to promote the preservation of our external environment, as well as the cultivation of our inner.

MICHAEL HAYDEN is a Los Angeles-based painter who masterfully uses melted beeswax combined with pigment and resin to create colorful and luminous paintings. Sometimes his use of found objects brings an unexpected sculptural quality to his work. While mostly self taught, he is Influenced by master painters Jasper Johns, Mark Rothko, Richard Diebenkorn and Gerhard Richter, to name a few. Hayden strives to create atmospheric scenes inviting the viewer to a place of meditation and contemplation. Hayden's work is collected and exhibited worldwide.
