MICROSOFT AUTHENTICATOR APP DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

Good afternoon,

Our MFA go-live date of Monday, May 15^th is fast approaching. To ensure you’re ready, please review the following message carefully.

The following are instructions for downloading the Microsoft Authenticator App to your phone and only applies to employees who selected the app as their MFA method. Employees who will be using the FIDO2 key can ignore this message. You’ll receive a separate message with a video tutorial on using your FIDO2 key shortly.

Go to the Google Play (Android) or App Store (iPhone) and search Microsoft Authenticator. Be sure you choose ‘Microsoft Authenticator’ and not the ‘Authenticator App’ which looks very similar.

Once you’ve installed the Microsoft Authenticator App, you’re all set until the 15^th.

When we enable MFA for all employees on May 15^th, you will need to complete the following steps to initialize:

Once that is complete, you can expect to receive Authenticator prompts about every two weeks AND when logging into a new device or when logging in from a new location.
