Get Paid to Upskill or Reskill Your Staff!

In partnership with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to explore Skills Bridge, a program developed to help businesses upskill and reskill employees.

What can you expect in Skills Bridge?

  • Top-notch courses on one platform, tailored to upskilling your employees in areas such as equity, diversity and inclusion, leadership, digital skills and more.
  • Flexible learning—anytime, anywhere, at your own pace until September 30, 2024.
  • Courses range from 1-2 hours built into bite sized modules of 2-10 minutes.
  • Easy management of assigning and tracking your employees’ course progress through a custom dashboard.
  • One employee creates an organization account, and can register up to five other employees/learners to access the content.
  • One-on-one customer support.
  • Complete voluntary surveys to help further develop the platform and courses (registration, post-course, and exit).

On a first come, first serve basis, businesses who register by August 23rd, 2024, can receive an honorarium for each course completed on the Skills Bridge platform, up to $250* per organization. At this time, we are wait-listing businesses. Upon being promoted from the waitlist, the Skills Bridge team will contact businesses via e-mail and/or phone to confirm their participation in this opportunity. Businesses will have up to one week to confirm their participation upon being contacted.

Upon confirmation of participation, you and up to five employees can access over 40 courses at no cost in areas such as leadership, digital skills, equity, diversity and inclusion, e-commerce, and so much more until September 2024!

Join the Waitlist Today!

Deadline to register is August 23rd, 2024.

Ever wonder what your local government is responsible for?

With three levels of government in Canada, it is sometimes confusing to know exactly what a municipality is responsible for versus the duties of your Provincial or Federal government.

Municipalities are granted powers as a municipality from the Government of Alberta through the Municipal Government Act. They take care of services within local boundaries like public transit, garbage collection and recycling, roads and public sidewalks, utilities, fire and police service, recreation and property taxes.

The Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce is the largest voice of business in Airdrie & area. Our policy-building process is key to our success as business advocates. It is our goal to advocate for policies that will foster a strong, competitive economic environment that benefits businesses in our region, and beyond.

Chamber policies are voted into force at the Alberta & Canadian Chamber's annual policy sessions and are brought forward to the appropriate elected officials.
