The Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking applicants (2) to be directors of our Board commencing at our May 8, 2025 AGM.
The Airdrie Regional Chamber exists to help businesses in our region reach their potential. Our purpose is to represent, promote, inform, and enhance the interests of our regional business community. The Board of Directors is a governance Board and we seek new directors who are able to provide strategic insight in support of our purpose to empower the business community.
Every year, we seek to ensure our Board of Directors is representative of our region and the increasingly diverse business community. We are inviting applications from all Chamber members, especially individuals with the following expertise:
- Strategic Planning & Execution | Knowledge of the formulation and implementation of major goals and initiatives undertaken by the Chamber’s leadership on behalf of its members.
- Legal | Expertise in and knowledge of laws, regulations and the ability to apply them in corporate governance, ensuring compliance and legal integrity.
Furthermore, applicants to be on the Airdrie Regional Chamber Board should:
- Be purpose-driven, with a strategic perspective
- Possess senior leadership experience
- Be committed to the Airdrie Regional Chamber and its purpose
- Have board governance experience
- Be financially literate
