A special note from Maestro Eduardo Marturet
A New Year, A New Beginning
Like you, all of us at the Miami Symphony Orchestra are anxiously awaiting a time when we can gather together to once again experience live performances safely. Until then, we will continue doing our very best to bring MISO’s special brand of music and entertainment to you at home.
But for us to be able to continue to our efforts, we need your help!
As a way to ring in the New Year, our goal is to reach our goal of $500,000 for the fund by New Year’s Day. These dollars will ensure that we can survive the Covid-period and continue to provide our beloved community with entertainment that brings hope to these trying times.
The New Beginnings Fund will provide us the capital to continue our current programs like the Virtual Stage and MISO Newsletter that have been providing musical entertainment throughout the pandemic, as well as support the salaries for our musicians during this crisis.
We will also be able to continue to host virtual concerts, like the Symphony in Green that we held in early December, or Golden Sounds from Hollywood that we held last Sunday. Did you miss them? Well check out our Digital Concert Hall access recordings of those (coming soon) and numerous other MISO performances for free, on demand.
Donations from supporters like you is what makes the Miami Symphony Orchestra possible. Please consider donating today either through our secure website or by mail to help keep this essential part of our vibrant Miami community thriving.
We'll be here when this is all over and look forward to saving you a seat at our next live performance!
Thank you and best wishes for a happy New Year!
