Dear First Baptist Family,
For the past NINE years, FBC has partnered with our neighbor, Alderman Elementary, by providing: school supplies for children who financially struggle, tutoring buddies for Kindergarteners learning to read, and prayer partners for teachers and faculty who would desire prayer support. This mission partnership has allowed our church to use the gifts and resources God has given us to bless our neighbors but more importantly, our church has been blessed by the children and faculty of this wonderful school!
We reached out to the principal, Kate Tayloe inquiring how FBC could best meet the needs of Alderman's students and staff given the online learning start to the new school year. Below is a letter received by Ms. Tayloe for our congregation, requesting assistance by providing supplies for at-home learning kits.
