The Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale is pleased to share for your viewing pleasure a link to its 2021-2022 Digital Commerative Souvenir Booklet.
"Despite the various challenges we experienced in 2020 and 2021... worldwide pandemic, civic unrest in response to racially motivated police brutality, a devastating hurricane, and a deadly tornado... we have been blessed to continue making HerStory.
Since our inception in 2013, MKFF has curated any #LadiesFirsts beginning with our Founder, Gwendolyn V. Rainey, being the first African American Woman in Orleans Parish to start a Mardi Gras Krewe.
There have been many other notable firsts including our Blessing of the Streets, as the first dedication service for a Mardi Gras Krewe, and our Crown Jewel Declaration at City Hall, as the first to honor Mardi Gras Queens," said outgoing President, Dr. Takeshia C. Davis.
She adds..., " I am honored to continue to share in the HerStory we create by parading on the streets and giving back to our community, even during the pandemic. Over the past two years, we have safely shared our time and our talents by participating in virtual happy hours and parades, the Future Femme Trunk or Treat, and partnering with the City and State to host "Femes Fight The Flue" and "Femmes Vaccinating Families." We are more than a Mardi Gras Krewe and sharing our blessing with those who need us most is the true essence of FemmeNation..."
