Scholarship and Statue Status
|
|
The
Fishers of Men
statue and scholarship campaign is 1/3 of the way through its three-year term. The intent is to present a gift to MLC in thanks to God for 25 years of blessing on our alma mater (1995-2020). Dedication has been set for August 21, 2020, and to date, over $40,000 has been given by generous hearts. The gift will consist of a symbolically significant statue of Jesus holding a net and inviting us to come, follow, and fish for people. The second component of the campaign is to establish an endowed scholarship that will benefit MLC students for years to come.
Learn more
about the campaign, watch for a mailed appeal coming this fall, and please consider supporting this worthy project.

MLC greatly appreciates our alumni and the many ways they serve their alma mater. Now more than ever, our school and synod needs alumni to be ambassadors and recruiters for MLC and public ministry. What does this mean?
*
Request
materials, a speaker, a musical group, or an
MLC Sunday
for your school or congregation.
*
Pray for MLC
and those preparing for the ministry in your home, classroom, and congregation.
*Use
MLC Day
as an annual opportunity to encourage your students to consider public ministry.
Consider conducting your own MLC Day any time during the year, then share your photos or videos by emailing them to
mlcday@mlc-wels.edu
. We’ll unleash the synod-wide collections during our on-campus MLC Day, May 1, 2019.
