The next Mt. Lookout Community Council public meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, August 17, is moving to TUESDAY, AUGUST 18. This date change is being made to accommodate several guest speakers who we have invited to come and talk with our community. These speakers include:
Carolyn Jones, Cincinnati Public Schools Board: Ms. Jones will share information and answer questions about the upcoming school year for Cincinnati Public Schools, what local CPS families can expect and what we can do to help foster learning through the new remote and blended-learning formats.
Marie “Pinky” Kocochis, League of Women Voters: Ms. Kocochis will discuss how we can prepare for the November 3 election and discuss current legislation on voter accessibility.
In addition, Aftab Pureval is running for re-election as the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts and has requested to speak with our community about his goals for a next term.
Due to social gathering restrictions, this month's meeting will once again be held online using Google Meets. You can also participate by phone instead.
